Tamāra Al-Salim

Tamara Al-Salim wears many hats in the Digital Identity space, her day to day job as a Product Owner for Digital Identity and PKI at New Zealand Defence Force, supporting the Communication and Information Systems Branch in creating an integrated information environment that continuously evolves to meet the need of the force, their partners and the broader defence community, both in New Zealand and abroad. Tamara has been the Country Ambassador for Women in Identity in New Zealand Since early 2020, a volunteer-run, international not-for-profit membership organisation that promotes diversity and inclusion across the identity industry. Tamara also serves as an Executive Council member and Deputy Chair of Digital Identity New Zealand (DINZ) since early 2021; DINZ was formed to help New Zealand’s transformation as a digital nation, where everyone can prove who they are digitally to organisations in a secure and trusted way.
